Flower island the pearl in the Atlantic, a floating garden, the 700 km west of the African coast and approximately 980 km distant from the Portuguese mainland. A more dramatically stains earth, with mighty basalt mountains, in the center torn apart and split, an enormous canyon runs through the middle of the island. During your stay the following excursions are planned:

  • On a Western Tour Discover the fascinating west coast of the island of Madeira. From the highest cliff in Europe, the Cabo Girao you can enjoy the fantastic view. Walk through the largest banana plantation. try Madeira's national drink "Poncha. Drive over the plateau Paúl da Serra to the coastal town of Porto Moniz.

  • Excursion to some of the most beautiful panoramas of Madeira. From the hill Pico dos Barcelos enjoy a dream view, where Madeira's capital lies like an amphitheater in front of us and in Eira do Serrado you can look down to the bottom of an extinct volcano. Then our route leads in adventurous serpentines to Monte. At the end, you will have the opportunity to ride the traditional wicker sled down to Funchal.

  • Explore the northeast of Madeira on another day trip. This tour takes you through the east of the island of Madeira, Camacha, Pico do Arieiro, Ribeiro Frio, Santana, Ponta de São Lourenço and Machico, with a visit to the dense Laurisilva forest. A lovely little hike takes you along the lush vegetation under laurel trees along ancient, small irrigation canals to the Levadas to the Balcoes viewpoint. The conclusion we set over Porto da Cruz to the Ponta de São Lourenço, the easternmost point of the island with spectacular views.
