The capital of Portugal. A special tour with the motto "With charm and style", combined with the historic district of Lisbon where you can visit the Park Eduardo VII with a beautiful view over the city down to the Tagus. Would not be worth mentioning, there would not be two large greenhouses with all sorts of exotic plants: the "Estufa Fria" (cold greenhouse) and the "Estufa Quente" (warm greenhouse), next to green plants grow many exotic flowers, especially beautiful the many camellias blooming in white and red in spring.
The Palacio da Fronteira, particularly beautiful in the stately palace is the romantic garden. The first Marquês de Fronteira had the palace built in the 17th century as a hunting lodge. Particularly impressive are the Azulejos. Gods, planets, zodiac signs, birds, cats and monkeys decorate benches and facades on the porch. The magnificently tiled Gallery of Kings dominates the lower part of the garden.
Royal gardens of Sintra that first will lead you to the Royal Sintra with sightseeing castles, palaces and the gardens. Favorite place of the romantics, which is full of palaces, surrounded by mysterious landscape and exotic plant world. An absolute highlight surrounded by a magic garden is the Quinta da Ragaleira, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the immediate vicinity about 3 KM away is the garden of Monserrate. Exotic tree giants grow here, there are already 25 palm species; and the fern trees were imported by Sir Francis Cook himself from Australia. There is a rose garden, a Mexico valley, a Japanese garden, a valley of ferns and many exotic plants that could be acclimatized here amazingly: bunya tree and rubber tree from Australia, tear cypress from China, Mexican cypress etc.
Enjoy once again a last Portuguese cafe and the warming sun. The bus takes the guests to the airport Lisbon, also here they are again accompanied by our guide.
