Discovering the unique charm of Portuguese gardens of Madeira.

The perfect period of the year is the springtime to join a garden tour in Portugal and enjoy the spectacle of the blooming Camellia. This exotic botanical species is incredibly well suited to the conditions of the Atlantic climate, and an absolute must-see of handpicked garden tours in Portugal.

DAY 1:

Our local guide will welcome you in Funchal. Transfer to the chosen Hotel will be in a modern, air-conditioned coach. During the transfer, guests receive valuable information about the island of Madeira.

DAY 2:
Our day will lead you to the most important monuments of the island's capital: such as the Market Hall with its exotic fruit, the vegetables, beautiful flowers and the fish market. Here you will taste the precious exotic fruits. This tour will be complete with the typical Madeira wine visit and taisting. To finish this day, of course with the most famous parks on Madeira Jardim Botânico and the orchid garden.
DAY 3:
Eira do Serrado - Curral da Freiras - pilgrimage chapel in Monte.
Today, first we will go to the to the viewpoint Pico dos Barcelos with a dream view, where Madeira's capital lies like an amphitheatre in front of us. Continue towards Eira do Serrado, a lookout point at 1094m above the village of Curral das Freiras. Then our route leads in adventurous serpentines to Monte.
DAY 4:
Blandy‘s Garden.
One of the most beautiful private gardens of Madeira has some of the most precious and rare exotic plants to feature the "mecca" of all botany lovers. At the end of the day follows small levada hike.
DAY 5:
West-Tour Cabo Girao, Porto Moniz und Ribeira Brava.
This day has the highlights of Cabo Girão, Ribeira da Janela, Laurissilva forest, and Câmara de Lobos. Take in the views from the Pico da Torre viewpoint and enjoy a glimpse of everyday life in the village, before continuing through the surrounding vineyards. We will admire the spectacular views from Cabo Girão, the highest cape in Europe at an altitude of 1,900 feet (580 meters), before arriving in the lively village of Ribeira Brava. Follow a scenic route around the northwest coast, driving through the Ribeira da Janela valley, then arrive in Porto Moniz, with a dip at the natural pool, before heading to Seixal, where the Véu da Noiva viewpoint offers impressive views over the surrounding cliffs and waterfalls.
DAY 6:
Eastern tour of Madeira.
This tour takes you through the east of the island of Madeira, Camacha, Pico do Arieiro, Ribeiro Frio, Santana, Ponta de São Lourenço and Machico, with a visit to the dense Laurisilva forest.
DAY 7:
Visit the Tropical Monte Palace & Museum Monte Palace with three galleries. In the exhibitions, the "African Woman" and "The Secrets of mother Nature." There are also present sculptures and natural resources from Africa, Brazil, Portugal, Peru, Argentina and North America.
DAY 8:
Enjoy once again a last Portuguese cafe and the warming sun. The bus takes the guests to the airport Funchal, also here they are accompanied by our guide.
