Full of nature, the Wild West. Excursion to Lagos, a beautiful harbor town, which is mainly known for its beautiful sandy beaches. Continue to Sagres for Fortaleza Fort and finally reach the most south-westerly point of Europe, the Cape of Sao Vincente.

Excursion into the highlands of the Algarve to the Serra de Monchique with an extraordinarily rich and varied vegetation. Visit the historic city of Silves, once the cultural center of the region and capital of the Moorish principality. The glorious past of Silves is clearly reminiscent of the massive double walls of the castle with the glowing red and battlements of the fortress Xelb and the red sandstone former cathedral.

Full of treasures, the unknown east. Excursion to the provincial capital Faro, was destroyed in 1755 by an earthquake; only a small part of the old town has been preserved. Several museums, the cathedral built in different styles and the baroque church Igreja do Carmo are the main attractions. Olhão, there is the largest fish market in the province. Tavira is located on the East Algarve, just between Faro and the Spanish border. Castro Marim Castle the castle on the Rio Guadiana, the border river to Spain - a National Monument.

The Outback and some of the most beautiful panoramic views. North of the coast, the old town has retained much of the original charm of the Algarve. Here you will find typical Algarve houses, narrow streets, beautiful views of the area, a church worth seeing and small museums and exhibitions of local artists. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking.
